How to update a ticket and use the repair log
Updated
On a ticket's page, use the status buttons and Assignee to move it across the board, post updates, and record when you told the landlord.
Steps
- On Home, tap the Tickets card. The board has the columns Open, Assigned, In progress and Fixed. Closed tickets sit under Closed at the bottom.
- Tap a ticket to open it.
- Use the buttons by its status: Start, Mark fixed, Close or Reopen. The ticket moves to that column.
- To assign it, tap Assign and choose who's handling it under Assignee. The ticket moves to Assigned, and they get a notification if they turned on Tickets assigned to me.
- To add news, type in Add an update… and tap Post.
- Under Photos, tap Add photos to show the problem.
- When you tell your landlord, tap I told the landlord today. Tap Clear the date to undo it.
- Tap Repair log for a printable list of every ticket with when it was reported, when the landlord was told and when it was fixed, with photos.
Good to know
- Tickets move in a set order: an open ticket can be assigned, started or closed; a started one can be marked fixed; a fixed one can be closed. Any ticket can be reopened.
- Adding photos needs Premium. The repair log works on any plan.
