How to pay a housemate with the Pay button

Next to anyone you owe, tap Pay to see the payment apps they've added. Copy their handle or open the app, pay them, then record the payment in hausync.
Steps
- Open Expenses from the Balance card on Home, or tap your house name on Home and then Expenses.
- In Balances, find the row that says you owe that person, and tap Pay.
- A card opens with each way they accept money. Tap Copy to copy the handle, or Open to open the app straight on their profile.
- Pay them in that app.
- Back in hausync, tap Record on the same row and then Save payment, so your balance updates.
Good to know
- Open only appears for Venmo, PayPal and Cash App handles, or when the person added their own link.
- If they haven't added a way to pay, the card says so. You can ask them, or pay cash and record it.
- Paying in another app doesn't update hausync. You always need to record the payment.
