How to see balances and record that someone paid

The Balances card shows what you owe each person and what each person owes you. When money changes hands, record it with Record, They paid me or Record a payment.

Steps

On Home, tap the Balance card (or tap your house name, then Expenses). The Balances card at the top shows your total, then one row per person.
If you paid someone back, tap Record next to that person. The form fills in who paid, who was paid, and the full amount.
If someone paid you, tap They paid me next to their row.
For any other amount, tap Record a payment. Choose Who paid and Whom, then enter the Amount.
Check the Date, add a Note such as Venmo or cash, and tap Save payment.

Good to know

You can only record payments you made or received. One of the two people has to be you.
Balances are between pairs of people. hausync never routes a debt through a third person.
hausync doesn't move money. A payment only records something that already happened.
To undo a payment, find it in the month list on Expenses, tap Remove and confirm.
