How to join a house with an invite

Open the invite link or scan the QR code a housemate sent, or type their code, then tap the Join button.

Steps

Open the link or scan the QR code your housemate sent. Or type the code yourself: on Start your house use Invite code and tap Join, or (if you're already in a house) tap your house name on Home, open Your houses and account, and tap Join with a code.
If you don't have an account yet, tap Create an account to join (or Continue with Google / Continue with Apple). Already have one? Tap Log in.
If you just created your account, you're in. If you logged in, you see "Join" and the house's name: tap the "Join as <your name>" button.
You land on Home in your new house with a "You're in" message.

Codes are 8 letters and digits, like ABCD-EFGH. They never use O, 0, I or 1. The dash and capital letters are optional.
If you see This invite has expired, was cancelled, or is used up, ask a house admin for a new code. Use Type the code again to retry a typo.
If the invite places you in a different unit of a house you're already in, you can choose "Move to <unit>" or stay where you are.
