How to add a washer or dryer

The house owner opens Laundry, taps Machines, fills in the Add a machine form and taps Add machine.

Steps

On Home, tap the Laundry card.
Tap Machines at the top of the screen. If there are no machines yet, you can tap Add machines instead.
In Add a machine, type a Name people will say out loud, like W1 or Dryer left.
Pick the Type: Washer, Dryer or Other. This fills in a usual cycle length, which you can change in Usual cycle (min).
Pick a Unit, or leave it on Whole house. Optionally say Where it is, for example basement.
Tap Add machine. You see Machine added.
To change or remove a machine later, tap it in the Machines list, edit it and tap Save, or tap Remove.

Only the house owner can add, change or remove machines. Everyone else can start loads and join the wait list.
Adding machines and using the laundry board is free. Printed QR labels and NFC tags need Premium.
Removing a machine also stops its label and tag from working.
