How to share the house key with a housemate

Tap Share key on the house page and send the link by text or AirDrop. When your housemate opens it while signed in, their device can read the address and Wi-Fi.
Steps
- On Home, tap the house name at the top to open the house page.
- In the Details card, tap Share key.
- Pick how to send it, for example a text message or AirDrop. If your phone has no share menu, the link is copied and you see a message telling you so.
- Your housemate opens the link on their phone while signed in to hausync. They see House key saved on this device, and the address and Wi-Fi appear.
- Or they can copy the link, open the house page, paste it into the Paste the house key or link box and tap Unlock.
Good to know
- Don't send the key in hausync chat. The key is what keeps hausync from reading your address and Wi-Fi.
- Anyone in the house whose device has the key can share it. If your device shows Locked on this device, ask a housemate who can see the details to share it with you.
- The key is saved on each device separately. A new phone needs the link again.
