How to add the house address and Wi-Fi

An admin types the address and Wi-Fi in House settings. They're encrypted on your device with a house key before they're saved, so hausync can't read them.

Steps

On Home, tap the house name at the top, then tap Edit.
In the House card, fill in Address, Wi-Fi name and Wi-Fi password.
Tap Save.
Open the house page again. The Details card now shows Address, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi password. Use Copy to copy the Wi-Fi name or password, or Map to open the address.

Good to know

Only admins and the owner can change these details.
Housemates only see the address and Wi-Fi on a device that has the house key. Send it to them with Share key (see "Share the house key with a housemate").
If your device doesn't have the key, you can type new details and save them. This locks the details with a new key, and housemates need the new key to read them.
If the page shows Waiting to be encrypted, the details were saved before encryption was added. An admin opens House settings and taps Save once to encrypt them.
