How to edit, pause, resume or delete a chore

Go to Manage chores. Tap a chore to edit it, tap Pause to stop it for now, Resume to bring it back, or open it and tap Delete chore to remove it for good.

Steps

Open Calendar and tap Manage chores.
To change a chore, tap its name, make your changes, and tap Save.
To stop a chore, tap Pause next to it. It moves to the Paused section and its upcoming turns are removed.
To bring a paused chore back, tap Resume next to it under Paused, or open it and tap Resume at the top.
To remove a chore for good, tap it, tap Delete chore at the bottom, and confirm.

Good to know

Editing a paused chore and tapping Save keeps it paused.
Deleting removes the chore and all its turns, done ones included. It can't be undone; pause it instead if you might want it back.
Saving an edit rebuilds the upcoming turns from today on. A turn you handed to someone else keeps its new person, unless that date is no longer in the schedule or they can no longer take it.
Anyone who can see a chore can edit, pause, resume or delete it. A Just me chore can only be seen and changed by you.
